Privacy Policy
Last updated:
LeadsAlto ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our website or opt in to our communications.
1. Information We Collect
- Contact information you provide (name, email, phone number, business name where applicable)
- Project details you submit (service requested, location, timeline, budget)
- Consent records including the time, source, and method of your opt-in
- Message content and metadata from communications with us
- Website usage data such as pages visited, referrer, and general device/browser information
2. How We Use Your Information
- To match you with relevant local professionals or consumer projects
- To respond to your inquiries and provide the services you requested
- To send SMS, email, or phone communications you have opted in to
- To schedule and confirm appointments
- To improve our services and website
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms
3. SMS Consent and Mobile Information
LeadsAlto's SMS text messaging program is a first-party B2B communication channel available only to local professionals who apply to join our platform and voluntarily opt in via the SMS consent checkbox on our pro application form at https://my.leadsalto.com/form-page. The SMS program is used exclusively for direct communications between LeadsAlto and enrolled professionals about their application, account, onboarding, appointment reminders for calls with our team, billing and subscription, platform announcements, customer service, and occasional promotional offers about our services.
Consumers do not receive SMS from LeadsAlto. LeadsAlto does not use its SMS program to deliver consumer leads, consumer contact information, or lead-notification alerts. Consumer mobile numbers are never enrolled in the LeadsAlto SMS program.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- With the professional you selected from the directory — when a consumer voluntarily submits a project through the LeadsAlto directory, the project details and contact information the consumer provided are transmitted to the specific professional the consumer chose to contact, so that professional can respond to the consumer directly. The consumer initiates and authorizes this exchange by selecting a listed professional and submitting the project; the exchange occurs through our platform. This data sharing is not part of our SMS program and does not involve any SMS opt-in data.
- With service providers who help us operate our business (e.g., hosting, CRM, messaging platforms), bound by confidentiality obligations
- When required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of LeadsAlto, our users, or the public
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
As stated in Section 3, mobile opt-in data and SMS consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for any purpose, and are not used for lead generation or lead delivery.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us.
6. Your Rights
- Opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information
