We help homeowners search, compare, and connect with qualified local pros for home improvement, repair, and maintenance projects. Independent professionals apply to be listed in our directory and appear in consumer search results by trade, service area, and business name. Consumers browse those listings and reach out to the professional they choose — we do not assign, route, or match consumers to any specific professional.
LeadsAlto is a directory service, not a marketplace, lead broker, or contractor. Any project engagement is directly between the consumer and the professional they select.

Yes. Searching the LeadsAlto directory and contacting a listed professional through our site is free for homeowners.
Does LeadsAlto match me with a pro automatically?
No. LeadsAlto is a directory — we do not assign, route, or automatically match you with any specific professional. You review the pros that appear in your search results and choose who to contact.
How is a professional listed in the directory?
Independent local professionals apply to be listed through our pro application form at leadsalto.com/form-page. Our team reviews applications before adding a professional to the directory.
Will I receive text messages from LeadsAlto if I search or submit a project?
No. LeadsAlto's SMS text messaging program is only available to local professionals listed in our directory who have opted in through their pro application. Consumers who search the directory or submit a project do not receive SMS messages from LeadsAlto. The professional you selected will contact you directly using the contact information you provided.

SMS Text Messaging
LeadsAlto's SMS text messaging program is available only to local professionals who have applied to be listed in our directory and have provided express written consent by checking the SMS box on our pro application form. The program covers two transactional purposes: (1) Customer Care — application status updates, appointment reminders for scheduled calls with our team, and customer service replies; and (2) Account Notification — subscription renewals, payment reminders, invoice notices, and account or listing changes. It does not include marketing, promotional, or third-party messages.
Consumers do not receive SMS from LeadsAlto. Homeowners who submit a project through our directory are contacted directly by the professional they chose, using the contact information the homeowner voluntarily provided; that direct outreach is not part of our SMS program.
